Pink pop up

La sperimentazione nell’uso del vetro è una parte insostituibile del percorso di Marialuisa Barbera che si dedica alla ricerca di procedimenti plastici non convenzionali.
Le mie vetrate liberty, anch’esse un inno alla lavorazione del vetro, sono state progettate appositamente dall’architetto Alfredo Campanini agli inizi del Novecento e rappresentano una scena di rinascita e rinnovamento, regalando ai visitatori una festa di luci e colori che attraversa i miei spazi ad ogni ora del giorno. Allo stesso modo l’opera “Sedia per ospite illustre”, proveniente dalla stessa artista e donata al mio museo nel 2018, è collocata accanto alle finestre ed arricchisce l’atmosfera Liberty omaggiando la fluidità dei miei motivi.

The experimentation in the use of glass is a unique part of the path of Marialuisa Barbera’s who dedicates herself to the research of unconventional pictorial procedures. My glass windows – a hymn to the manufacture of glass as well – were specifically designed by Alfredo Campanini at the beginning of the 20^th century and they represent a scene of rebirth and renewal, offering visitors a festival of lights and colours that pass through my rooms at any time of day. Similarly, the work of art “Sedia per ospite illustre” (“Chair for eminent guest”), created by the same artist and donated to my museum in 2018, is located close to the windows and enriches the Art Nouveau atmosphere honouring the fluidity of my motifs.
