The form of down

Quest’opera di Hitomi Nagai ricorda le “infinite forme” che puoi scoprire passando tra le mie stanze. La lavorazione delle sue fibre restituisce vita al tessuto che si reinventa ogni volta che è osservato. La creatività dei suoi movimenti allude ai sogni che hanno percorso la storia delle Tessiture Seriche Bernasconi dalla propria fondazione al proprio tramonto e ciò che il tessuto può rendere possibile.

This work by Hitomi Nagai recalls the “infinite shapes” that you can discover walking through my rooms.  The manufacturing of its fibres gives life to the textile which reinvents itself every time that someone observes it. The creativity of its movements alludes to the dreams that have trespassed the history of the Tessiture Seriche Bernasconi from its establishment to its decline and what the textile enables to do.
